Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Browser "local storage" is a similar mechanism for saving small amounts of data on your device. We use both only to make the simulator work.

• Authentication (essential) — keeps you signed in and protects your account. Removed when you sign out or your session expires.
• Preferences (essential to the feature) — remembers settings such as the Teaching / Analytical content toggle and the era map you last viewed. Stored in local storage on your device.
• Simulation cache (functional) — stores hashes of recent Monte Carlo runs so results load instantly when you return to the same settings.
• Payment (third party) — when you check out, Stripe sets its own cookies on Stripe-hosted pages for fraud prevention. See Stripe's privacy policy.

We do not use advertising, analytics-for-marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Because our cookies are essential to signing in, blocking them will prevent you from using account features. Clearing local storage simply resets your interface preferences.
